Description
A very rare German musical automaton, ca. 1890-1900, of a winter scene with a snowball fight and people sledding in the background. The Dolls are porcelain bisque, glass eyes. There are two that throw snowballs and 1 building a snowman. All are still working. In the back wooden hand carved tobogganer, sheep, skier, girl, all working and ski past as you turn the handle. When you turn the handle you hear music and the characters move. Music box is working. 3pds. Measures 12 long, x 8 x 10 high.
