Description
A Russian silver gilt and shaded cloisonne enamel kovsh, 11th Artel, Moscow, 1908-1917. In Art Nouveau or stil' modern taste, the exterior enameled with brightly-colored stylized tulips, blossoms, and scrolls against a stippled gilt or green ground, the shaped prow with a blue flowerhead against a pale blue ground among applied cloisons, the shaped handle enameled with geometric ornament in shades of turquoise, olive green, lavender, orange-red, and pale blue and topped with a polish gilt band. Struck with maker's mark and 84 standard. 1209-033. Length: 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm). Gross weight 38.5 grams.

Overall very good condition, some small wear consistent with age and use.
