Description
A Russian gilded silver and shaded cloisonné enamel serving spoon, Moscow, circa 1908-1917, the back of the circular bowl enameled with stylized tulips, daisies, and pansies within scrolling foliage in bright shaded enamels reserved against a stippled gilt ground, the flattened shaped handle with conforming ornament, struck with Cyrillic initials M Ch (М Ч) of an unidentified workmaster, the Moscow hallmark canceled as per regulation for exported items, and with French import mark. Length 7 in. (17.8 cm)
