Early 19th Century Berks County Hand Drawn and Colored Fraktur Birth and Baptismal Certificate. Attributed to the Springing Deer Artist. For Ehster Rohrback Longswamp Township, Berks County, 1813. Mirror image fraktur with central heart having scrivener work flanked by tulips, birds, young girl and leaping stags. Ex: Donald Shelley Collection. Ref.: Earnest, "Papers for Birth Dayes" Vol. 2 p. 728. Image 8" x 13-1/4"; in a period bold grain painted mitered frame 12" x 17" overall. Condition: Fair with border losses and tears, some staining.
