Description
Pre-Columbian, Central America, Costa Rica, Guanacaste/Nicoya region, ca. 200 to 600 CE. A lovely necklace constructed with 13 miniature greenstone axe god pendants, dozens of slender discoid beads, carved rock crystal beads, and several modern gold spacer beads to provide a vibrant pop of color. Size (necklace): 18.5" L (47 cm); (largest axe god pendant): 0.35" L x 0.28" W x 1.14" H (0.9 cm x 0.7 cm x 2.9 cm).

Condition
Wearable as shown and strung in modern times. Stone pendants and beads are ancient; gold beads, metal hardware, and stringing are modern. Minor chips to some beads and pendants, otherwise intact and very good. Great presentation.
