Chinese Ming Dynasty Wanli Wucai Porcelain Large Plate. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, large thick and bulbous body, with angled cavetto elevated the steep sides upward the flaring mouth rim, raised on a wide round, with slight concave footing. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against Wucai design color depicted of carps swim through flower water plant and sea grass. The colors are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Wanli Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
