Outstanding Louis XV style desk, leather topped, extensive ormolu, sturdy construction. Stamped Henry Dasson, the piece shows signs of previous repair to spots of veneer and trim.For full potential, the desk would require professional restoration to bring full market value. Considering circa mid 19th century, and privately held for many years, some repair can be expected.It is in overall very good condition, but would significantly benefit from full restoration, and so would its new owner.
