Printed lobby card featuring caricatures of the actresses by Al Hirschfeld, with inscriptions and signatures of each to the Broadway show's press representative, Shirley Herz (1925-2013), including the signatures of Rhonda Fleming, Dorothy Loudon, Kim Hunter, Myrna Loy, Jane Miner, Alexis Smith and Marie Wallace, two signatures slightly faded, reverse mat burn, toned, 14 x 8 in.
The 1973 Broadway revival of Clare Boothe Luce's 1936 play, The Women featured a star-studded cast during its limited engagement. Running from April 25 through June 17, 1973, it was publicized by the legendary Shirley Herz, to whom this piece was presented. Herz was active in the industry for sixty-five years, promoting hundreds of shows. She received an honorary Tony for Excellence in Theatre in 2009.
