Item Details
Description
A Kramer Voyager electric guitar with an ESP neck, serial #C1121, in black finish. Owned and stage and studio-played by Chris deGarmo of heavy metal band Queensryche. This guitar was originally built by Kramer for deGarmo prior to the recording of the band’s first full-length record and heavily documented in photographs at this time. The guitar is signed by deGarmo on the back with a short list of the albums, tours, and video where the guitar was used.
It was used in its stock configuration on the first two Queensryche albums, then modified after the Rage for Order tour concluded with an ESP neck with specs identical to the ESP Dagger guitars he favored, as well as a black Floyd Rose vibrato. The guitar was then used in the music video for the song “Operation: Mindcrime.”
A 25.5” scale length maple neck with a 22 fret bound ebony fretboard, and mother of pearl inlays. Mated to the guitar’s original Kramer body with a humbucker neck pickup, an EMG bridge pickup, three-way toggle, master volume and tone controls, and a black double-locking Floyd Rose tremolo bridge. The arm for the bridge is in the case storage compartment.
The guitar includes its original case, a poster of deGarmo using the guitar in its stock configuration (Kramer neck, gold hardware) as well as a Certificate of Authenticity written and signed by deGarmo himself from 2017.
