A sage green pullover shirt, custom-made and worn by Don McClean.

The cotton shirt features shoulder straps, two front pockets, a pointed collar decorated with metal grommets, belt loops, and green buttons. Small tag attached to the bottom hem reads, "Shirt, Man's, Aggressor, Green 255 Contract No (illegible)."

In his book Don McLean: American Troubadour (The Russ Cochran Company, 2012) McLean shares: "I don't remember where I got the green, two-pocket pullover shirt, but it was one of my favorites. I like shirts that don't button all the way down, otherwise the buttons continually rub the back of my guitar. I've had a number of black pullovers made based on the design of this one."
