A matched Victorian silver-gilt four-piece tea service together with a matched modern tray Robert Garrard, London 1866 - 1873, tray, Garrards Ltd, London 1951 Pear form with bead rims, with a matted surface, the kettle and teapot, with hinged dome covers with fruit finial on a leaf calyx, with acanthus leaf embellished spout and handles, with ivory insulators, kettle on collet foot others on scroll feet, each with armorial engraving to one side and monogrammed opposite, together with a pair of sugar tongs, the rectangular tray with rounded corners and bead time, handles lacking grips, length of tray 54.5cm, weight 115oz.
