Paul Evans (American, 1931-1997). Bronzed plaster and wood base table with glass top. It belongs to the popular bronze series PE100-200, introduced by Evans in 1964. Employing a combination of craftsmanship and experimental technology, Evans used epoxy to apply bronze over a frame, resulting in captivating a brutalist design with striking surfaces. Signed and dated PE 73' on side. Dimensions: (Base) H 15.25" x W 48.5" x D 29" (Glass) L 60" x W 36.25" x D 0.75" Condition: Showing normal signs of wear including a possible small repair to base.
