A medium-sized six-panel byôbu ??? (folding screen) showcasing a delicate Rinpa School-style painting that captures a tranquil gathering of four cranes ? (tsuru). These cranes are gracefully arranged amidst youthful bamboo bushes, all set against a backdrop of a serene ambiance, further enriched by gold-flecked clouds. This calming depiction bears a resemblance to the artistic approach of the Rinpa School, celebrated for its focus on tranquillity and the beauty of nature. Signed and sealed in the lower left right corner “Takane” ???. Framed in black lacquered wood, complete with protective hardware. Total width: 277.6 cm (2 by 47.6 and 4 by 45.6 cm). Height: 121.9 cm. In a very good restored condition with some traces of wear conform age.
