We have studied this Bear, and have come to the conclusion that he was a 11 feet 5" Monster Bear that was one of the Top 3 or 4 largest Bear that was taken in the past 100 years! Over the past 41 1/2 years we have probably bought and sold 1200 Bears or more. Only one Kodiak Brown Bear that we had can be in the conversation but he was 10" shorter. He did however, have a larger Billy. It was like a large Holsten Dairy Cow, but just didn't have the height. The mount is clean and in very good condition. The Bear did have some some rubs and scars when harvested back in the mid 1970's. We have done the best restoration job that we can to ensure the mount will still look good for another 50 years. The taxidermy quality of this mount is currently an 8.85 on a 1 to 10 quality scale. This mount is extremely impressive and it will will definitely get a lot of attention wherever it is displayed.
