A French brass automaton bird cage with 2 singing articulated birds activated by hand crank on side. The cage is mounted on a base decorated with embossed oval links and leaves. Signed on underside of base "Made in France". Some feathers missing on one side of the lower bird, else very good condition and in working order. Measures 20 1/2"H x 11 1/8" diameter at base.
