A pair of vintage, probably early Republic period, Chinese hand carved wooden graduating wooden end tables completed with hand painted Famille Rose pink ground porcelain inlaid plaque tops. Tops depict birds and butterflies amongst branches with floral blooms. Wooden frames with high relief carved knot decorations. No apparent kiln or reign marks, or obscured. Largest measures approx. 32" height x 56 3/4" width x 17 3/4" depth. Smaller measures 19 1/4" height x 24" width x 18 1/2" depth. Smaller has cracks to porcelain and fading to wood at top. Larger appears in overall good condition.
