Map of Cornwall after Saxton by William Kip (active 1585-1618), copperplate engraving as issued in the second edition in 1610, of William Camden's "Britannia" based on the work of Christopher Saxton (1540-1610). One of the earliest maps of this English county. On laid paper, heavily toned with a pale line at the joined sheets. A suitable candidate for restoration. In deep oak panel frame, matted under glass. OS: 20 1/2" x 25", SS: 11 3/4" x 16".
