Elvis Presley's Personally Owned Fabrique Nationale Browning .25 Caliber Automatic Pistol "Boot Gun" W/Letter From Richard Grob - This rare, vintage Fabrique Nationale Browning .25 caliber automatic pistol was personally owned by Elvis Presley. In addition to being a talented performer and actor, Elvis had a variety of hobbies, including his love of guns. Elvis is reported to have owned 32 handguns, a shotgun, and a machine gun during his lifetime. The "Baby" Browning pistol was first produced at Fabrique Nationale in 1905 and was officially imported by Browning in 1954. This 25 autoloading pistol was discontinued in 1969. The pistol comes with an affidavit from Richard Grob, Head of Security and personal friend of Elvis Presley. The letter states in part, "Elvis carried this gun in his boot. One day while riding his motorcycle in Palm Springs Elvis dropped the gun in turn breaking the grip on the gun. The gun was retrieved two hours later." Serial: 129654.
