Description
Southeast Asia, Cambodia / Thailand, Mon-Khmer, ca. 12th to 13th to century CE. A bronze votive mold that was used to make Buddhist pottery plaques, presenting a Buddhist Triad, an enthroned Buddha flanked by bodhisattvas. The verso has an elaborate handle for quickly stamping batches of wet clay. Size: 5.25" L x 3.75" W (13.3 cm x 9.5 cm)
