Description
Livingstone (Castro) Roberts (American, 1941-2004). An original oil painting on Upson board. A Florida Highwayman work depicting a windy coastal beach landscape with palm trees and crashing waves. Painted in the style of the 20th-century Indian River School and its founder, Albert (Beanie) Backus (1906-1990), who assisted in the foundation of the Florida Highwayman movement. Signed lower right. Presented in a rustic white wood frame.

Work Size: 24 x 36 in.

Dimensions: 30 X 41.5 X 1 in.

Condition: Good overall condition having average age toning and surface wear. Frame having average to moderate storage wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
