Robert "Shoofly" Shufelt is an artist from Illinois who attended art school and worked in illustration. He once lived at a cattle ranch near Wickenburg, AZ and then moved to New Mexico in 1991. Shufelt is known for his great modern day cowboy and ranch lifestyle art, which has been displayed in several galleries and museums, including some in Scottsdale and Tucson, Arizona and several other places around the nation. Museums he's exhibited at would include Desert Caballeros Western Museum, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, and a handful more. This artwork of his is a reproduction of his sketch titled The Million Dollar Rope Horse, numbered 74/225, and is hand signed by him. A fine, rich impression done in black on a white background depicting a young cowboy on his horse roping away.
