Description
A Pennsylvania Chippendale Walnut Chest of Drawers, Third Quarter 18th Century. The rectangular two board top with applied dished molding above two short drawers over three long drawers, flanked by fluted canted corners, above a base molding, raised on ogee bracket feet. Tulip poplar and pine secondary wood with full depth dust boards.
Dimensions: Height 36 3/4in; width 38 1/2in; depth 19 1/4in; case width 35 3/4in.

Condition
Moldings to either side are slightly loose. Small losses and nicks to lips of drawers. The feet with glued repairs facings and replacement to glue block. The top and bottom long drawers are lacking locks in the interior. The brass hardware is of the period, but later replaced, with ghost marks of previous hardware to drawer fronts. No keys
