Year 2004.Neive small country town , immersed in the Langhe, land of famous wines, Barolo and Barbaresco Romano Levi became famous in the seventies thanks to the gastronome Luigi Veronelli, who defined him as the Grappaiolo Angelico on the pages of the weekly Epoca; the definition of angelico was also inspired by the name Serafino Levi, Romano's father, which remained as the name of the company. His grappas were judged to be rough, frank, strongly anchored to the peasant tradition, devoid of softness and sweetening, without concessions to traditional softness"modernist".
