A Chinese blue silk five-clawed 'Dragon' robe, Qing dynasty, late 19th century, couched in gold and silver thread, with nine five-clawed dragons clutching flaming pearls, amidst dense cloud scrolls and reserved on a blue ground, with the eight Daoist attributes, flowers and bats in gold and multi coloured embroidery, all above rolling waves centred by the terrestrial diagram and lishui stripe at the hem, with original collar and cuffs, 133 cm hem to collar x 188 cm cuff to cuff Provenance:The property of a Gentleman 晚清 石青地金龍紋袍拍品來源:英國私人紳士收藏
