Antique hand painted porcelain Asian centerpiece tureen . Includes under plate, tureen bowl and lid. Impressed porcelain with heavy gilded Asian scrolling and flowers on a cobalt blue background , solid gilt finial and handles. Feature 2 scenes within a cartouche of English men on a Fox hunt with their hounds. In the background is the village church , peony bushes, and plum blossom trees. Signed by the artist center right, illegible. Other side scene has the men galloping in their horses, the hounds running amongst Asian foliage. Lei- wen thunder and cloud lower rim pattern with reticulated leaf decor all in gilt. Interior is a Ceylon blue color as is under plate with matching cobalt and gilt decor. Under plate and tureen are hallmarked in orange ink over glaze with Asian characters. Possibly an Asian export to the British population. Under plate measures 12.5 x 10.5 in.
