Huang Zhou (March 31, 1925 - April 23, 1997), whose original name was Liang Gantang , also named Yingzhai , and his pen names were Huang Zhou , Liang Yezi , Miao Di , Liang Peng , Liang Quan, etc. Among them, Huang Zhou is the most famous, so Also known as Liang Huangzhou. A native of Lixian County , Hebei Province , he is a Chinese painter, social activist, collector, and one of the representatives of the Chang'an Painting School . He once served as the executive director of the China Artists Association , vice president of the Chinese Painting Research Institute, and director of the Yanhuang Art Museum in Beijing . Learned from Zhao Wangyun. Huang Zhou is good at painting the characters, animals, people's lives and the beauty of the scenery in Xinjiang . He is very good at painting animals, especially donkeys and camels .
