Chinese Ming Dynasty JiaJing Blue and White Porcelain Gourd Bottle Vase. The porcelain potted in a shape of double gourd resemblance, with two bulbous bellies conjoined together, bulbous lower section finishing into a slender bottleneck at the top, suspending a cylindrical neck, raised on short ring foot base and slighty concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of group of elders walking and seating on the forest bellow dense tree, flowers and enclosed with a circle of Ruyi patterns. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct.The Under base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years JiaJing Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
