Moche Nobleman Stirrup Vessel, Phase IV, circa 200 - 500 A.D. A museum quality Stirrup vessel of a nobleman. The vessel depicts a seating person of high rank with on arm on lap and other hold a cloak. Bag with strap on other knee. The head has a nose spool and ear spools, with two bird headdress. Stirrup handle at rear. Polychrome slip of cream, orange and red. Mineral deposits Dimensions: 9-1/2" H; Weight: 1 lb. 9 oz. Provenance: Ex Whiteplains, NY collection
