English Victorian sterling silver ewer or claret jug, Benjamin Smith III (1793-1850), London, c.1849, hinged cover, baluster-form body with vine handle, decorated in relief with grapevines, engraved coat of arms of an anchor crest over shield with stars and leopard's faces, banner with motto "spero," on a domed circular foot, approx 13"h, 33.46ozt **Provenance: A prominent Terrytown, Austin, Texas estate**
