Together with a group of circular specimens contained in a turned ebony wood box.
Diameter of stages: 2 in.
Diameter of ebony box: 1 3/4 in.
From the Estate of John A. Davidson, Jr.
Acquired 1990 from Frances Heywood, widow of Harold Heywood, from the 'junk box drawer' of T.H. Count (1868 - 1951) the co-author of The History of the Microscope (1932)
Proceeds to benefit the APL of Lorain County and the Dittrick Museum.
