An oak ashtray carved by Alan Grainger (Acornman) of Brandsby with a small acorn carved to the side, 10cm x 7.5cm x 2cm together with a late 19th century souvenir purse, the brass outer with stamped foliate decoration and a central roundel with a scene of a palace and figures promenading, the interior in red card, 9cm x 7cm x 1.5cm and a bone whistle formed as a dog head, length 4.7cm (3)

• Small imperfection to the centre

• The clasp is not particularly secure, but it is crudely made.
• The interior is complete but a little tatty
• Patches of green verdigris

• Missing an eye and the ring from within its mouth
