An oil on canvas painting attributed to Orville Bulman, American, 1904 to 1978, and depicting a whimsical Haitian scene with human figures and a pink house adorned with lacy applique standing on a sea shore with a sailing boat in the distance. Signed lower right. Titled, An Island Scene, dated 1975 and signed on the backside. Note: Orville Bulman was an American businessman-turned-painter. He owned a gallery on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. He did many paintings of the fauna and flora of Haiti, where he had lived in the 1950s, as well as of houses and Indian women.
