Meiji period (1868-1912), 19th century, a large porcelain charger finely hand painted in Imari palette with a border of three elegant golden phoenixes alternating with ruyi shaped registers of temples and waves, all surrounding a central medallion of the mythical kirin amidst fire bands and clouds.
