A 1968/1969 Gibson L-5 hollow body archtop electric guitar, serial #958809, natural finish, owned and played by Randy Bachman, who has sold 40 million records worldwide as a member of The Guess Who, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, and as a solo artist.
Acquired from a guitar teacher in Bellingham, WA, Randy calls this old L-5 “a beauty.”
A 17” lower bout, natural spruce top, maple back and sides, a 25.5” scale length five-piece maple neck, multi-bound 20 fret ebony fretboard with block inlays, and gold hardware all over. Humbucking pickups, three-way toggle switch and individual volume and tone controls for each pickup.
Includes hardshell case.
