Description
Ancient Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 800 BCE. A cast-bronze spear head of sizable form with an elongated petaloid blade, a raised midrib, and a thick tang that tapers to a button terminal. Thick layers of green and brown patina cover the surfaces. Size: 17.9" L x 3.1" W (45.5 cm x 7.9 cm)
