Description
Late 18th to Early 19th C. table top meat cutting device in old blue paint. Designed for cutting mince meat, head cheese and similar such foods. 21 fixed iron blades with wooden pegs on rotating cylinder, old repair to hinges, missing a foot, 16" long, 8" high, 7.5" deep, along with A 19th C. primitive scrapwood box in old red paint made up of scraps of varying wood, uneven in dimensions, cobbled together out of what was available. Either a young man's attempt at carpentry, or a make-do approach to a specific need using what was available at hand. Old square nail construction, dresser pull type handle & brass hinges.
