Ashanti - Asante brass Kuduo - gold dust jar. Ghana. The lid with a sculptural scene of a man, a goat at slaughter, and a date palm tree. The heavy brass body with an open-work base, four bell-shaped studs, hammered woven wire-work and geometric inscribed decorative designs.
Early 20th century.
