In Oz, Dorothy meets a group of companions and embarks on a journey to find the Wizard of Oz, hoping he can help her return home to Kansas. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles and villains, but eventually reach the wizard and learn important lessons about friendship, courage, and the power of believing in oneself. The book has become a classic and has been adapted into numerous film and stage productions.
This timeless classic was first published in 1899 and reissued under various titles including “The New Wizard of Oz” in 1903 by Bobbs-Merrill.
