Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are happy to greet you, and we would like to invite you to participate in the Antiqon Classic Auction, which will take place on 27.11.2021 at Antiqon Art and Antiquities Centre, located at 52 Brivibas street, Riga, Latvia.
At the auction will display significant works of Russian and European art of XVIII-XX centuries, silverware from the best jewelry houses of Russia, art castings and cabinet sculptures, works of masters of painting, unique collector?s items, as well as treasured items from leading European houses.
Among the top lots at the upcoming auction is a lyrical image of late autumn - the landscape "Fog in the forest" by Julius Yulievich Klever, dated 1898, set in the frame of the Imperial Court supplier A. Gesel.
True connoisseurs of the beautiful will not be left indifferent by the magnificent silver krushon set "Bogatyrskaya Zastava" from the famous Moscow workshop of Mikhail Tarasov. The set consists of a punch bowl, a ladle, six cups, and a tray with a dedicatory plaque that is decorated with an image of bogatyrs and an inscription made in the style of national romance.
A special place in the auction catalog takes unique collectible art objects from suppliers to the Russian Imperial Court: a Russian gold glass with enamels from K. Ghana, an amazingly beautiful snuffbox by I. Marshak, as well as unique silverware by K. Faberge, Gustav Klingerta, P. Ovchinnikov, I. Khlebnikov, O. Kurlyukov, the Moscow jewelry artels and other famous workshops, which had a special place in the history of Russian monarchs and influential noblemen.
There is also an interesting and quite savory section of the catalog, which presents objects of art from the genre of erotica. Among them is the porcelain layer "Love Game," KPM Berlin, 1830, These include the "Love Game" porcelain layer from the Kaiser Wilhelm II art collection, the silver erotic automatic cigar box with music, for cigars which was made at the turn of the 19th-20th century
