Briggs Auction is owned and operated by Stephen Turner, the fourth generation of the Briggs-Turner family, taking over from John H. Turner, Janice Briggs Turner and William J. Briggs. Mr. Turner's grandfather, Robert J. Briggs, took over the business from his father in the 1960's. Each subsequent generation has succeeded in growing and expanding the business to meet the demands of the market and consumer expectations, and we continue to offer the finest fresh-to-the-market merchandise from local, Main Line, PA, and Delaware Valley Estates, Homes, and Collections.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide our clients and customers with the highest level of professional, courteous, honest, and ethical service and to obtain the highest possible price for the finest quality merchandise, sold at absolute auction without minimums or reserves, in order to ensure the finest auction experience.
Briggs Auction is more than the sum total of the merchandise we have sold over the years. At the heart of our operation are our people and the pride that we take in knowing our customers as individuals. This has been our philosophy from the very start.
OUR HISTORY
Briggs Auction was founded in 1932 behind the Booth's Corner School, the site on where it still stands today. We began with two auctions each week, selling livestock on Tuesdays and other merchandise on Fridays. At the Friday auctions, everything on hand was sold, with nothing carried over, and the tradition has continued into the present, with bi-weekly, online Discovery auctions and monthly online Fine Estates Auctions.

Good Experience
The pendant was just as described and shown in photos. Good experience. On thing to improve on... wish they would ship jewelry directlly... it's a little nervy getting a third party involved, if something goes wrong
