Description
Chinese free standing table screen with green jade carvings. Qing Dynasty style. Removable partition is divided into eight sectional motifs on front face (room opening facing side) of decorative household vases, flowers, statues and lamps all inlaid with white jade, green jade and coral. Backside is a single panel finely detailed with a waterside scene of people fishing in boats, houses and pagodas on islands with a bridge and pagoda in the foreground and mountains and willow trees in the background. Wood is black lacquered sandalwood. Currently disassembled into panel and base of 9 pieces, shipped disassembled in crates. Panel 35½x49¼", total assembled size 42"x66". Very fine. Korngiebel AAA COA.
