FINE SMALL GREEK MAIDEN WITH FLOWERS, Flora, c. 3rd-1st century BC. The finely modeled bronze girl wearing a flowing himation, her hair drawn up behind her head. 2 inches. This charming small figure once ornamented the head of a fine brooch or cloak pin and was surely worn by an elegant high class lady. Rare and a wonderful example of the skill of Greek jewelry makers. Provenance: An extensive 20th century New Jersey collection assembled over the past 35 years.
