Chinese Qing Dynasty Silver and Enamel Figure of a Female Archer, The figure wearing finely worked silver and Cloisonné armour with separate quiver in the form of a dragon. The ivory face hand painted with ivory hands clasping a bow and arrow. Her hair adorned with a silver and enamel bird (phoenix), the whole supported on a wood and brass inlaid stand. 27 cms (10 3/4").
Provenance: Property of a Lady. The Private Collection acquired by a Brazilian Diplomat, whilst visiting China during the 1960s.
